Date: April 23, 2010 Time: Friday Night: 7PM WPHS CROWNING ON CENTER STAGE AT 2:00P.M. SATURDAY APRIL 24, 2010 ENTRY FEE: $25.00 PER CONTESTANT The Little Miss Bluebird pageant and Miss Teen Bluebird will consist of: Beauty/Formal wear event · Judged on facial beauty, projection and overall appearance · Attire will be Sunday best or formal wear · Contestants may be presented on stage by an age appropriate chaperone · Contestants will compete in age group as of the date of the pageant · DEADLINE FOR ENTRIES WILL BE APRIL 20, 2010 AT 6PM-NO LATE ENTRIES ACCEPTED. WE WILL NOT FOR ANY REASON ALLOW ENTIRES THE NIGHT OF THE EVENT AT THE DOOR.
AGE CATEGORIES: Baby Miss 0-11 months Princess Miss 5-6 years Petite Miss 1-2 years Cinderella Miss 7-9 years Dainty Miss 3-4 years Junior Miss 10-12 years Miss Teen Bluebird 13-15 years (New this year) All contestants will receive a trophy. A Queen, Most Beautiful and Princess will be chosen in each age group. The new “Little Miss Bluebird” will be the child with the highest overall score. The new “Miss Teen Bluebird” will be the teen with the highest overall score. There will also be a “Overall Most Beautiful crowned for the child or teen with the highest score for beauty and a “Dream Girl” who will be the next highest score for beauty as well as highest for projection and overall appearance. All pageant contestants can enter the “PHOTO CONTEST”. Cost is $5.00 per picture. (This would be a picture that you already have and you will turn in with your application). One winner will be chosen per age group. A PHOTOGRAPHER WILL BE AVAIBLE AT THE PAGEANT FOR PICTURES. Winner of the “Little Miss Bluebird” Title or “Miss Teen Bluebird Title and any Overall Title winners will not be eligible to compete in the “Bluebird Pageant” the following year but are invited back to “CROWN” the new winners.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS: All contestants too young to attend school must have parents who reside within the WPISD. All school age children MUST ATTEND WPISD. Those who reside within the school district but are enrolled outside the WPISD are not ELIGIBLE. Land ownership does not constitute a “residence”. A grandparent or relative living in WPISD DOESN’T give you eligibility to be a contestant.
A CHILD CAN LOSE HIS OR HERS TITLE IF THE PAGEANT DIRECTORS FIND OUT YOU DIDN’T MEET ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS.
At the pageant Friday night there will be an entry fee of: $2.00 12 years old and up $1.00 6-12 years Ages 5 and under is FREE

2010 BLUEBIRD PAGEANT “LITTLE MISS”, “LITTLE MR.” AND “MISS TEEN” ENTRY FORM All entrants must attend WPISD if they are not of school age their parent must have permanent residence with the WPISD.. If a winner is crowned and then found to live outside the WPISD, the crown will be lost and presented to the runner up. Please make checks payable to: WP BLUEBIRD FESTIVAL Forms can be turned in accompanied by payment to the Wills Point Chamber of Commerce, Methodist Day School or by Mail to Methodist Day School c/o Debbie Vaughan or Mindy Neely 201. S. 4th Street Wills Point, Texas 75169 on or before April 20, 2010. Please fill out this form as completely as possible. It is the information used by the Master of Ceremonies while your child is on stage.
